About me
Adjunct Professor · Faculty of Science and Technology in Engineering (FCTE), Gama campus · University of Brasília (UnB)
I am an Adjunct Professor at the University of Brasília (UnB), at the Faculty of Science and Technology in Engineering (FCTE, Gama campus), where I have been since December 2019. I coordinated the B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from 2023 to 2025 and I am vice‑coordinator of LabTelecom, the Shared Teaching and Research Laboratory in Telecommunications (LCEPT). I also serve as Associate Editor of IEEE Signal Processing Letters and of Signal Processing Open (Elsevier).
I hold a Ph.D. (2016) and an M.Sc. (2012) in Teleinformatics Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and a B.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR, 2010). During my Ph.D. I spent one year as a visiting researcher at Ericsson Research (Kista, Sweden) in the Radio Access Technology department, and from 2012 to 2019 I was a research engineer in the GTEL / Ericsson Research cooperation program at UFC. I was a CNPq postdoctoral fellow at UFC in 2017–2018.
My work sits at the intersection of statistical and array signal processing and wireless communications: parameter estimation in propagation channels, massive MIMO and MIMO‑OFDM channel estimation, hybrid beamforming, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, localization and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) for 5G/6G, GNSS receivers, LEO satellite links, and software‑defined radio.
